Sanara's journey began in my kitchen as I sought to take control of my Psoriasis and the products I used on my skin. After years of self-taught herbal and cosmetic chemistry training, I discovered that at the core of my being, I am a healer and creator. This realization led me to develop functional and luxurious body care products that cater to sensitive skin needs.

The name Sanara is derived from the Spanish word "sanará," which means "you will heal." It is not just a body care line; it is a lifestyle brand that embodies self-discovery and reconnection. Through the creative process, I have been able to reconnect with my ancestral heritage of making hand-made medicinal salves and performing Latin healing ceremonies known as limpias to restore emotional and spiritual well-being in my community.

Sanara has also reconnected me to my indigenous lineage and to Mother Earth, reminding me that she always provides. In the process, I learned to embrace my body and reconnect my mind to my physical being, something I had ignored for far too long.

While Sanara was initially created to cater to my sensitive skin needs, it has evolved into something much more significant. It has allowed me to reconnect with my truest self, the most important relationship one can ever have.
