Ingredients

When I was researching and developing this collection of products, I was interested in exploring some of the ingredients my Latin American ancestors turned to for centuries. Not only were these ingredients time-tested and proven effective, I loved that they provided a rich sensory experience and allowed me to connect with my heritage.

I worked with a team of experts to create my final formulas, carefully choosing and vetting each and every ingredient. They need to pass my personal “non-irritating” skin test as well as meet my standards for being high-quality, safe, and natural, plant-derived ingredients.

Our formulas are cruelty-free, vegan and contain no synthetic ingredients, parabens, phalates, artificial fragrance or colors, and are made to be gentle and kind to sensitive skin.

Acai Berry

Found in the deep rain forests of South America acai berries grow on acai palm trees. Acai is an antioxidant powerhouse due to it being high in Vitamin C. It helps protect the skin from environmental aggressors and reduce the appearance of ageing. A 2006 study conducted by the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry found the acai berry had by far the highest oxygen radical scavenging activity of any food measured to date.

Bamboo fiber is used as an exfoliator and Rebekah chose bamboo for it’s ability to adapt to sensitive skin.
