"Sueño Ritual" (Dream Ritual)

The "Sueño Ritual" is all about embracing tranquility and preparing your body and mind for a night of restorative sleep. It's the perfect way to end the day, enveloped in self-care and peace, ready to wake up refreshed for a new day.

Follow the steps below. 

1. **Evening Unwind**: Begin by dimming the lights in your bedroom and playing some soft, calming music. This sets a peaceful ambiance, signaling to your mind and body that it's time to slow down.

2. **Gentle Cleansing**: Start with a gentle cleansing of your face and body in a warm shower. This not only cleanses your skin but also helps wash away the stresses and worries of the day. Consider using a soothing cleanser infused with calming botanicals, like our Black Brazilian Clay Soap Bar with Jojoba oil and Cupuaçu Butter.

3. **Warm Bath or Shower**: If you have the time, a warm bath can be incredibly relaxing. Add some of your soothing bath products, like my Yerba Maté Bath Soak with Aloe & Jojoba oil or a few drops of a calming essential oil blend, like my signature TRANQUILA EO Blend. If you prefer a shower, let the warm water soothe your muscles and calm your mind.

The act of massaging the moisturizer into your skin can be very therapeutic and helps to further relax the body.

5. **Breathing Exercises**: Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and focus on your breathing. Practice deep, slow breaths to help calm your mind. This can be done for just a few minutes but is incredibly effective for relaxation.

6. **Gratitude Reflection**: Reflect on your day and think of at least three things you are grateful for. This practice shifts your focus to positivity and contentment, which is wonderful for a peaceful mindset before sleep.

7. **Final Skincare Routine**: Gently apply a nighttime facial moisturizer or serum. Opt for products with calming ingredients like lavender or chamomile to support your skin’s overnight healing and rejuvenation process. I know everyone is different when it comes to your facial moisturizer, but I love creating products with multifunctionality in mind and love using my body butter or body oil whichever I'm using that day as my facial moisturizer. 

9. **Bedtime Preparation**: Make your bedroom a sleep sanctuary. Ensure your bedding is comfortable, the room is cool, and maybe add a few drops of a calming essential oil to your pillow.

10. **Sleep Inducing Meditation or Soft Music**: As you lie in bed, you might listen to a guided sleep meditation or some soft, soothing music. This helps to quiet the mind, prepare you for a deep and restful sleep.
